    Within these areas, the scientific activities of the Institute include the following:
  • Methodologies of forecasting, researching and recognition of mineral deposits,
  • Development of unified forms for storage of geodynamic synoptic and multi-variant data,
  • Geological, geodynamic and geothermal process models,
  • Implementation of computer-based geodynamic synoptic data processing for geological forecasting
  • Development of deposit management projects and raw materials acquisition methods from primary and secondary sources,
  • Assessment of the possibilities of existence of geothermal water deposits in different regions of Poland and analysis of these water deposit for use in management plans for cities and communes
  • Mineral resources acquisition strategy and its use assessment
  • Effective methods of mineral resources and energy use evaluation
  • Methodologies of optimisation the use of energy sources taking into consideration spatial distribution of these sources
  • Comparative analysis of Polish and international technologies for exploitation and processing of mineral resources and assessment of their efficiencies
